THE BAND The Shane Simpson Band was originally assembled to support the release of "Sketches," and consists of Lynne Hanson (guitar/vocals), Tom McMahon (bass) and Lorenzo Cotroneo (drums). Solid musicianship provides the perfect palette against which to highlight the colorful mix of jazzy-blues roots music.

	LYNNE HANSON Rhythm guitar & vocals Lynne has been playing guitar for more than a decade and represents the other half of the Shane Simpson acoustic duet. Favourite bad habit: practicing while watching sports on television.

Tom McMahon Bass In addition to being one heck of a bass player, Tom is also an established arranger and composer. Tom performs with some of Ottawa's finest, including one of this webmaster's favourites, Terry Tufts.

	LORENZO COTRONEO Drums Lorenzo has been a staple on the Ottawa music scene for many years, performing with many of the area's top musicians including Tony D, The Suicide Kings, and Zydeco Loco.
